Hi,
I'd like to use the PGOOD output of the LM27762 to drive an LED. What is the limit on the amount of current PGOOD can sink?
PGOOD would be pulled to the positive rail (5.2V in my application) through a resistor and LED in series. When PGOOD is low, the LED will be biased such that it is conducting ~ 1mA. To do this, my resistor will be 2.7k.
The datasheet only specifies that PGOOD should be pulled to VIN through a 10k resistor, or tied to ground. It doesn't give any additional details on PGOOD. My assumption is that using it to sink the LED current as I have described is fine, but I try not to assume things when they aren't explicitly specified in the datasheet.
Thanks,
Cletus
