TPS65919-Q1: TPS65919-Q1 LDO1 change output voltage

Part Number: TPS65919-Q1

Dear,

our client design DRA711, PMIC was use TPS65919-Q1,

PMIC LDO1 output default was 1.8V, but we need change to 3.3v, how to do revise register? or TI Factory Settings ?

IF any suggestion, Please advise me.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Lawrence.

  • Lawrence,

You cannot change the startup voltage value of the LDO. This value is set through One Time Programmable (OTP) settings in our factory.

If you set the BOOT pin to 1, LDO becomes a bypass. This means the LDO1 will equal the LDO1 input. If you have 3.3V to supply LDO12_IN, you will receive 3.3V on the LDO1 output.

This configuration is shown in our user guide: http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slvuax9

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Nastasha

  • Hi, Nastasha

if we set boot pin to 1, our Hardware design just do R106 change to R107 for bypass LDO1 Power3.3V is right?

If any suggestion, Please advise me.

    Thanks,

    Best regards,

    Lawrence.

  • Lawrence,

Your understanding is correct. To change from BOOT=0 to BOOT=1, you would depopulate the resistor in the R106 location, and populate the resistor in the R107 location.

    Thanks,

    Nastasha
