Hi,

1. Is the current limit error of +/- 8% at 5.3A, and is it OK to use for 12V / 5A power line?

2. Continue to 12V / 5A Power. Please check if there is any problem in using the power line with more than 6 hours of load.

3. When using 12V / 5A Load, ask if there is data about life span.

4. If we have trouble using Continue mode, please recommend if you have a part applicable to the same packaging.

    Hi TS,

    Is 12V / 5A power coming from an adapter? What is the max. load current and max. ambient temperature ?
    TPS25944A is 5A rated device and the continuous 5A load support depends on the operating ambient temperature and PCB thermal relief. Please provide details to check and confirm.
    Do you have any constraint on size to pick alternate low Ron part? please see TPS24751 device.

    Hi Rakesh,

    Yes, we are trying to use Adapter 12V / 5A Full as Power Source.
    There is no PCB currently designed, so ambient temperature is not known yet at Max Load.
    However, the Operating Temperature Spec of DUT is -20C ~ 60C

    Hi TS,

    At 60C operating temperature, the device is able to serve 5A load. There will not be any change in the life span of the device.
