Hi,

Current limit function Enabled contains Always and Startup Only modes
Please check the difference between the two modes.

    Hi TS,

    TPS25944A has circuit breaker operation. The current limit function is active only during startup. If an overload event occurs during steady state condition, the device allows overcurrent to the load (beyond set ILIM) for fault timer period of 4ms.
    Please refer Table-1 in the datasheet for more information.
