Dear Sirs

I like to use TPS63031 as the Picture "Typical Application Schematic" in the Datasheet.

1. If VINA,EN and PS/SYNC is together and via C3 on GND, did these Pins are Hi ?

2. Can I use this IC on a single side PCB ? (Layout Example, Figure 24 in the Datasheet, but only single side pcb)

I like to use this with a Input Voltage 3 - 4.5V and fix Output 3.3V / 200mA

Hi Ben,

1. Yes, these pins are high, as VINA is internally connected to VIN. C3 is used for filtering noise.
2. you could eventually, but how would you connect FB to Vout without using a via?

did you take a look at the TPS63051 for these operating conditions?

Sorry one more question about Inductor Selection:
My calculation for the Minimum Input voltage (3V) is:
IPEAK 1,75A ? (for the Inductor) (3.3V 200mA Out)
And Inductor should have low DC resistance for high efficiencies.

Which Inductor would you suggest ? (Brand and maybe Part Nr.)

I Need 90 - 95% efficciencies for Buck mode. ( Vin 4.5V)
and 82 - 85% for Boost mode. (Vin 3V)

The efficciencies that`s the most important thing for my Project.

an inductor like the XFL4020-152ME would be a good option
