TPS26620-23EVM: TPS2662 EVM question and current limit operation question

Part Number: TPS26620-23EVM

Hey Power Path folks!

I have a TPS26620-23EVM. The 1st question is: which IC is on the EVM? The User Guide would seem to indicate the TPS26620 and TPS26622. But neither of these are available yet - and the IC does not 'latch-off', rather - I think it is (at least one of them) a TPS26623 (auto-Retry).

The marking on the chip is:

PD00

758

A05k

2nd question: I have a 5V source and an 11-ohm load resistor with a 150mA current limit applied. The IC does not seem to latch off or auto-retry... it just seems to stay on and current limits at the level programmed. Why?

An odd (hole?) in the datasheet, page 6, for the current limit test specs, the Vin-to-Vout level is spec'd for <2.6V. In my EVM test, Vin-Vout is 3.35V... so, what should I expect the IC to do in this case?

Thanks!
