BQ24075T: VIN-DPM

Part Number: BQ24075T

Hi Sir

May I know

1. what's the value of VIN-DPM for BQ24075T

2. if EN2=1 and EN1=0 (Set by external resistor from ILIM to VSS) ,how much input current will be reduced?

in the datasheet ,only show USB500 for example ,have any application note ?

Thanks

  • Hello
    "What's the value of VIN-DPM for BQ24075T" --- See Vin-Low in specification table page 7, 4.5V typical.

"If EN2=1 and EN1=0 (Set by external resistor from ILIM to VSS) ,how much input current will be reduced? " -- See I-in-Max in specification table Page 9, 475mA typical

"In the datasheet ,only show USB500 for example ,have any application note ?" -- None on this device.
  • Hi Bill

    Q1 : OK

Q2 : "If EN2=1 and EN1=0 (Set by external resistor from ILIM to VSS) ,how much input current will be reduced?

I think max input current is Kilim/Rilim not 475mA

    My Question is

    1. if Vin drop to 4.5V ,BQ24075T will do Vin-DPM and reduce input current ,is it correct ?

    2. if I set input current is 1.2A and Vin drop to 4.5V ,how can I know how much input current will reduce?

  • Hi
    1. if Vin drop to 4.5V ,BQ24075T will do Vin-DPM and reduce input current ,is it correct ? ---- Yes

    2. if I set input current is 1.2A and Vin drop to 4.5V ,how can I know how much input current will reduce? -- The current will be reduced to keep Vin above 4.5V. It is hard to predict what the input current is reduced to, this will depend on the capacity of the adapter and resistance of input current path.
