UCC2808A-2: Power Dissipation Calculation

Please let me know about how to calculate power dissipation for UCC2808A-2 or the other Push-Pull PWM. 

If there better that available application note or calculation tool.

    Normally I measure the current flowing into the Vcc pin and use this in conjunction with the Vcc voltage to calculate the power dissipation in the device. Then I use the thea junction to ambient to calculate the junction temperature rise over the ambient.

    The power dissipation in the controller will depend on the frequency of operation and the capacitive load presented by the mosfets on the gate drive pins i.e. higher frequency with lower Rds on/high capacitance mosfets will increase the power dissipation within the controller.
