Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows what the actual limitation is for this chip in terms of cell count. I'd like to run 5 NiMH cells in series with a nominal 1.2V/cell and a fairly modest charge rate. I can see that the datasheet says up to 4 cells, but could it be made to work with more? Or is there a critical reason for limiting the number of cells to 4?
