TPS630242: question about Short Circuit Protection

Dear TI,

We are using the TI's DC-DC TPS630242YFFT, and when we short the output terminal (Vout) to Ground
As shown below, the switch does not stop, only the duty cycle is changed, and the Inductors Switch does not stop.
Please check whether it is normal waveform.

Hi TS,
the converter is not expected to stop switching in overlaod condition. when Vout is shorted to ground the converter switches and try to reach the regulated voltage.
Is the converter configured inn forced PWM mode?

The current test progresses to the PWM mode, and both PWM / PFM MODE will be used.
