REF3025: REF3025

Part Number: REF3025
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF3012

What is the maximum capacitive load at the output of REF3025.

In the circuit are 10uF/X/R in parallel with 10nF/C0G. Is this ok?

Thanks

Heini

  • Hi Heini,

section 9.1 of datasheet of REF3025 recommends an output capacitance of less than 10µ for REF3012. It's wise to follow this recommendation also for the REF3025. An additional 10n/NP0 in parallel to the 10µ/X7R isn't needed, usually. Connect the 10µ/X7R output cap directly to the chip.

  • Hi Heini,

Kai referenced the correct section in the datasheet. The 10nF is not needed. Just make sure not to exceed 10uF with low ESR. The REF3025 is stable without  a capacitor.
