Please tell the short-circuit current value or the maximum current which this part can drive?

Hi Harsh,

have a look at figure 13 and 14 of datasheet to see what output current the LM3480 drive during a short circuit event.

Thanks for the quick response.
Should I consider Figure 14 peak point current(~378mA) as the maximum short circuit current?

Hi Harsh,

The figures Kai refers to show the typical characteristics of current limit. It is possible to have a unit with a higher maximum. Unfortunately on LM3480 we do not have a tested maximum for the short circuit.
