TPS61222: Spice file for ADS

Part Number: TPS61222
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hi

I need to simulate TPS61222 IC in Keysight ADS. I got PSpice Transient Model for this. but its not working. Please help.

Thanks

Kowshik

  • Hi Kowshik,

I downloaded the project and it is running fine in my system. Below is the simulation result.

Could you please share the snapshot of the error or issue?

  • Hi Kawshik,

If you are using ADS for your simulations, please refer to the following FAQs. In summary it would be advisable to simulate the device in either PSpice or TINA-TI.

  • Hi Saket
Actually, i am working on energy harvesting and my rest of the circuit is in Keysight ADS. So i need to simulate the IC TPS61222 is ADS. Usually, PSpice files can be imported in ADS, For this IC i got PSpice transient file. When i am trying to import the file it is said as imported but there is no schematic in the window.I don't know what is the problem. I need help regarding this.

    Thanks

  • Hi Nikhil
I know its easy, i already did it. but my rest of my circuit is in ADS and my professor wants me to get all the simulation in ADS. Can you suggest me any IC that can boost 1 volt to 5 volt Dc which has pspice/spice/hspice/spectre netlist file.

    Thanks
    Kowshik
  • Hi Kowshik,

For part recommendation, you can enter your specifications in WEBENCH power designer (or search using the parametric search table shown below). You will need to know your current load in order to find a part.

All PSpice models can be found using the link below. Most Boost converters will be encrypted so you will not be able to import them into ADS. There are some older models that are unencrypted. You may be able to import them into ADS, but we can not guarantee that these will work in ADS. If a model is open (unencrypted), you are free to work with Keysight/Agilent to make it work in their simulator (ADS).
