TINA/Spice/TPS73601DRBEVM-518: Power Management about TPS73601

Part Number: TPS73601DRBEVM-518
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, LM2775

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

I have designed a Power Management citcuit using TPS73601,and the output voltage is adjustable, the circuit translate input-voltage 3.8V into output-voltage 5V,but the output-voltage is still 3.8V.the following is the citcuit .

hope you give me some advice!

  • Hi ,

Please allow me to check my understanding of your application, are you attempting to have a 5 V output from a 3.8 V input? Please note that LDOs do not boost voltage. When the input is less than Vout (nom) + Vdo, the LDO operates in the dropout region. In the dropout region the LDO output will follow the input minus a small resistive drop.

Could you also confirm your intended output voltage? Your resistor divider looks to be for 1.59 V.

    Very Respectfully,
    Ryan
  • thanks ! What you said is just what i want to express , and i have understand what you said , now i wan to use LM2775 to get 5V output .

    best wishes for you!
