LM2937: LM2937-5 minimum load current requirement

Hi,

Does the LM2937-5 have a minimum load requirement? For that matter, do any of the devices in the LM2937 family have a minimum load current requirement?

Hi James,

While the LM2937 does not have a strict minimum load stated, it is important to recognize that the Electrical Characteristics table specifications are only valid for loads of 5 mA or greater. As such we recommend a load of at least 5 mA in order to meet the Electrical Characteristics table.
