Why is latchup not a concern, when operated within spec max.? I am concerned with cosmic ray induced latchup and not electrical latchup.

Hi Munir,

Thanks for this question. In this case, being in space, we should be concerned about radiation. Radiation and its effects on a BJT can be understood further by checking out Radiation 101 training.ti.com/total-ionizing-dose-tid-basics
