Hello Sir/Madam,

I am designing a flyback converter using UCC28C45.

Input is 85-265V

Vout= 48V

Iout= 1A.

1. Webench has generated the schematic for me with EMI filter but values for those components are missing. Can someone suggest me those values or I found a similar TI reference design (PMP40025) can I use the input filter from this design?

2. The Output diodes shown are ideal can you suggest which diodes need to be used?

I suggest you use the input filter from the UCC28630 EVM which we know passes conducted EMI, www.ti.com/.../UCC28630EVM-572

Hi Vishal,

Sorry I missed the output diodes !

You can you the TI power stage designer tool to run through the numbers as well www.ti.com/.../powerstage-designer and if you click on the devices it will allow you to see the voltage and current waveforms plus the avg and rms values.

I suggest you use a 250V ultrafast diode rated for 2A avg current this should give you adequate margin for the voltage current stress in the design.

Hello Peter,

Please suggest me some other Filter as the Common mode choke shown in UCC28630 is not available anywhere.

I am going to use this power supply in a telecommunication application. Please suggest me a relevant EMI filter.

Hi Vishal,

Since we dont have a part number for the UCC28630 common mode choke, lets use the one in the PMP design you selected already. The conducted EMI plots look better than I expected.
