TPS2419: TPS2419

Part Number: TPS2419
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2410

Dear TI!

I decided to use your TPS2410 in a dual power supply application. I made the schematic attached below. My problem is the following: when both of the power supplies are connected, and I hot-unplug the EXT 5V connection, Q1 does not turn off properly. I measure 5V on the drain (its correct I think), but I also measure 1.8V on the source, both referred to GND. I also measured the gate, wich is completely 0V referred to the source. As you can see, I have a LED attached to the external 5V, and it lights slightly (the led turns on appr. at 1.8V). My idea is the following: I want to connect the STAT pin of U5 to the OV pin of U4. Is that correct? I would highly appriciate every tips to improve my design and avoid the lighting of the EXT 5V. Thank you and have a nice day.

Best regards:
