Hello Team,

out of the TPS1HA08-Q1 it is written that the maximum operative voltage is 36V, while the recommended maximum is 18V.

Having it as the half of the maximum voltage restrict the application.

What is limiting the nominal operative voltage to 18V maximum?

Does the part support a 30V continuous power supply?

Hello,

TPS1HA08-q1 is for automotive 12V sytem and the voltage range is 8V to 18V. TPS1HB08-Q1 will be specified for max operating voltage of 28V. Is the 30V nominal operating voltage? or it is transient?

Hello Harmouch,

30V would be maximum operative voltage of the system. Which means you can still get by normal operating voltage 30V.

Typically the system is powered by 24V but 30V cannot really be considered transient.

So the customer to have the TPS1HA08-Q1 among the option would need to understand if the device can be used with 30V max as recommended operative voltage. Other options would than be 60V eFuse.

That is right. The max operating voltage on these low On-resistance high side switches is 28V. I hope this answers your question.
