TPS43000: in PFM mode, CCM to VIN or to GND?

Part Number: TPS43000

Hello everybody,

I am currently using the TPS43000 to supply a circuit from a 2 cell or 1 cell, with 2 different arrangement.

Because that, the efficiency is one of the most important parameters, we are using PFM mode, but I am wondering if it is better to tie CCM to VIN or GND.

Then the question is: is it more efficient PFM mode with CCM tied to GND or PFM mode with CCM tied to VIN?

By the datasheet this is not clear, it seems there is no difference, when PFM is tied to GND, in the behavior with CCM tied to VIN or GND. because in both configuaration the TPS4300 goes in PFM when the DCM is detected.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
