TPS80032: Question about current development status

Hi,

I found TPS80032 on your website, but the development status have been "Preview" from Nov,2014.

Is the part still ongoing? if so, I'd like to know the current RTM schedule and sample availability.

    Hi Go,

    The TPS80032 shows as preview because no catalog versions of the part have released, mostly due to the high level of customization available. Many custom versions (default voltages, sequence, battery charger settings, etc) have been released but new custom versions require sufficient business case to be approved for mass production. If a custom version is of interest, please contact your local TI field sales representative to evaluate if the business case is sufficient for new development.
