UA78: differences between UA7805CKCS, UA7805CKCSE3 and UA7805CKCT

Hi sir,

What are the differences between UA7805CKCS, UA7805CKCSE3, and UA7805CKCT. I only know UA7805CKCT has the different package of TO-220(KCT). What about UA7805CKCS and UA7805CKCSE3?

Hi Jenny,

E3 identifies the lead-free component finish as Sn (tin). See this document, page 4:
www.ti.com/.../Environmentally_Friendly_Solutions.pdf

There are some dimensional differences between KCS and KCT TO-220 packages, shown on their respective drawings.
