Hi Team,

I test the charger Find Oscillation when the Charger Change mode From Constant Current

to Constant Voltage for 422mSec >7A p-p and 174Hz

I do Changes in the EVM:

R15=0.02

R18=32.4k

R32=22.1k

R9=37.4K

C23=33nF

Can possible to eliminate this Oscillation

Dear Shlomi,

Could you describe your setup? For example, are you using a real battery? How many series cells are you using? How is your battery connected to the EVM? This information would be helpful to start solving the problem.

I use 2 series sell and you can see charge slop on attach file I send you befor.

Shlomi,

Can you please provide more information about how your system is connected, for example how the battery is connected, what registers settings are you using, what jumpers on the EVM are populated etc.?

JP2 ON

JP3 Open

JP4 ON

JP5 Open (2 cell)

J2:

Pgnd Connect to (-) Cell Li-ion with 40CM 24AWG wire

Vbat Connect to (+) Cell with 40CM 24AWG wire

Vsys open

J1:

Pgnd 100CM 20AWG Wire to GND PS Source

Vin 100CM 20AWG Wire to +12V dc PS Source

Changes On Board

R15=0.02
R18=32.4k
R32=22.1k
R9=37.4K
C23=33nF

Correct me if I am wrong, but with JP3 open, your TTC pin is floating? This pin is used to set the safety timer and termination control. Are you driving this pin?

Only Open Set Enable Timer and Termination.

So no driving this pin.

I still need more information about your setup. The lengths of the wires from the adapter to the EVM and to the battery from the EVM are important. Could you please provide more information about your setup?
