TLC59116: TLC59116 min output current per channel is recommended to be >= 5 mA

Hi Team,

In our datasheet, we suggest TLC59116 min output current per channel is to be >= 5 mA, may I know if this suggestion is refering to REXT setting only? Can customer set brightness to '0' out if 255? Will this cause problem?

Why do we suggest TLC59116 min output current per channel is to be >= 5 mA? due to constant current matching degrades if below 5mA?

Hi, Andrew,

Customer can set brightness from 0 to 255, and this won't affect the current when the channel is ON.

For current below 5mA, the accuracy is not guaranteed.
