If the PWM section of the UCC28513 is not being used, how should the unused pins be tied?

    Hello Steve,

    You should connect VERR (pin 7) to GND (pin 6) and this will disable the PWM section.
    Also if you do not wish to use the PWM section of a combination ic controller then you should consider using a pfc type controller. The pfc section of the UCC28513 is similar to the UCC2818A
