TPS51363: REFIN/REFIN2 indirect connection to GND

Hi team,

Vout voltage is 1.05V at the customer's application, the setting of REFIN and REFIN2 is both GND. But The customer does not want to connect directly to GND. He tried to put a100Kohm between REFIN/REFIN2 to GND, in that case TPS51363 was not output.

What is recommended the resistance value?

Is it possible to describe more detail equivalent circuit of Reference Detection?

Hi,

There are some internal sequence detection of REFIN / REFIN2, Connected to GND with 0ohm is recommendation value for the internal judgement.

Connect to GND can save two resistors and easy for layout, so I am wondering why customer does not want to connect directly to GND?

Hi Yuchang,

The reason is the customer side issue, he does not want to use 0 ohm.
Is it possible to use 1 ohm instead of 0 ohm?

1. What is accuracy of Vout? 1.05V +/- 1%?
2. What value is temperature drift for Vout?

Hi Ogasawara,

1.05V could cover +/-1% @TA -10~85C.
