The efficiency for 12V output

Hi team,

Our customer is considering boosting from 5V to 12V.

I think that LM2623-Q1 is also one of the target devices, but there is no efficiency graph for 12V output in the datasheet.

Could TI provide an efficiency at 12V output?

They are assuming that maximum load current is 500mA.

Right now we don't have LM2623-Q1 EVM available on hand, so we cannot provide the efficiency result soon.
Does t the customer only need a Q version boost converter?

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, they need Q1 grade.
As I looked at datasheet, it seemed to assume only 5V or 3.3V output.
I'm worried about whethet it can really be used with 12V output.
As another candidate, TPS61085-Q1 is considered.

Hi Tomoaki,

We only have evm for LM2623 non Q version. So it's not easy to give the result. LM2623Q can have 12V output voltage.
TPS61085-Q1 has higher efficiency than LM2623. I recommend choose TPS61085-Q1. You can use WEBENCH to simulate and get the efficiency data.

I will tell them that they start consideration with TPS61085-Q1.
