Hi,

We got a question from the customer about LP2996A.
Could you help us?

Are there any start-up and shutdown sequence reqiurment between VDDQ, AVin, PVin, and /SD?

    Hi Tateo,

    PVIN should not exceed AVIN at any time.
    The similar sequence on TPS51200 datasheet figure 19 and 20 are suggested for LP2996A.

    Turn on:
    1. AVIN comes up first, then PVIN and VDDQ rise up, then use /SD to turn on the part.
    2. AVIN and EN comes up first, then PVIN and VDDQ rise up.

    Turn off:
    1. Use /SD to turn off the part, then PVIN and VDDQ falls down, then AVIN falls down.
    2. PVIN and VDDQ falls down first, then turn off /SD and AVIN.
