LMZM33602: Emissions and MIL-STD-461

I have a customer wanting to use LMZM33602 in an upcoming design, but the design must conform to MIL-STD-461. Can you offer any comment on the part's ability to meet this standard. Is there any advice that can be given when dealing with this standard?

Hi Carolus,

The LMZM33602 power module is not rated for MIL-STD-461. However the part does meet CISPR11 EN55011 Class B Radiated EMI which is more restrictive and stringent than Class A.

Thanks for the response. Just to clarify when you say not rated, are we saying that the device CANNOT pass MIL-STD 461 requirements, or that we simply don't subject the part to testing as part of our collateral??

Carolus,

The part was never subjected to MIL-STD-461 so we don't have any collateral on it unfortunately.
