BQ25100: BQ25101H/BQ25100H Op Temperature is from 0°C to 120°C?

I want to know why the BQ25100A can normally work between -40°C to 85°C,But the BQ25100,BQ25101H, BQ25100H 'S Op Temperature is from 0°C to 120°.Isn't this temperature range very unscientific?

The temp should be 0 to 125 for all device as specified on page 4 of the data sheet section 7.3.
Packaging Information table will be updated to show this.

Does that mean the chip won't work properly if the temperature is below zero?

Typical battery charging is rated for 0C to 60C and the electrical characteristics (EC) are measured from 0C to 125C.
Below 0C the device will work but EC are not guaranteed. Absolute min temp is -40C.
