My customer Visteon has a question about TPS54388 Fsw setting with RT.
In customer project and our EVM, the RT both using 82Kohm. According to datasheet calculation, the Fsw=2MHz. But in real test, the Fsw is high to 2.17MHz which has exceed TPS54388 datasheet Electrical Characteristics (Switching frequency range using RT mode is 200KHz to 2000KHz).
Can you help to check if the application is safe or not?
Or if we can understand, TPS54388 datasheet Electrical Characteristics (Switching frequency range using RT mode is 200KHz to 2000KHz) only specify the RT setting range which not include the chipset caused frequency change. In another word, datasheet only specify the Fsw calculated range not the real Fsw frequency.
