Hi Team

        TI TPS241x have Soft Turn on Reduces Bus Transients function.

Does this function only on TPS2410 ? or TPS2410/1 both have this function?

    Hello Kerr Chang,

    TPS2410 can be used for smooth switchover of power suppy rails that are ORed together.
    One disadvantage is that during a large load transient, there will be slight droop in the output because of the linear control of gate to maintain Vds drop of 10mV.
    However, TPS2411 does not have this problem, because it features ON/OFF gate control and not linear control.

    Generally, TPS2410 is suitable for power rails that will be regulated after ORing and TPS2411 is suitable for supply that may not need regulation after ORing.
