LM25010: LM25010 output issue

Hello All,

I am using this IC for an output of 9.6V with 0.1% resistor divider for setting the output to the mentioned voltage.

1st time run gave a result of 9.5V which was acceptable. But from the 2nd run it started giving an output of 6~6.2V having no change been done to the circuit.

Properly simulated in WEBBENCH, the only change is inductor value for which the webbench showed a value of 100uH in place of which i am using 390uH inductor. Although the webench showed no change in the output value after changing the value in the schematic from 100 to 390uH.

There-fore the issue came up after the 1st time run.

Please help.

Hi,

Does your circuit works with 100uH inductor? Maybe the 390uH inductor saturates and not giving you a proper result?

No we couldnt check with a 100uH one, but one mystery is that how was it working only the first time and not after that.

It could be something got damage? Do you have schematic/layout?

HI,

Do you have a waveform for the switching behavior as well as the output voltage?
Any layout capture? You need to put the R241 and C151 close to the inductor where the C162 is across the R239 (Top Feedback resistor)
