TPS65266: Difference between TPS65266 and TPS65266-1

Hi,

If someone can tell me what is the difference between TPS65266 and TPS65266-1?

I saw the Vout(min) of TPS65266-1 is 2.7V on the web but on datasheet TPS65266-1 can output 1.2V.

I was confused...

Hi，

The main difference between TPS65266 and TPS65266-1 is the behavior in light load condition. One is PSM and the other is FCCM.

I didn’t see the statement of 1.2 or 2.7V Vout. What’s the VIN and Vout in your application?

Thanks for your reply. I saw on TI website.

One more question: When i used webench to simulate TPS65266 i found the maximum frequency can be set is 1.164 MHz. But actually the maximum frequency is 2.4 MHz.

No matter how i changed the input condition it was always like that.

Hi,

1. I've checked the information. Minimum Vout should be 0.6V for all three parts. It's a mistake on the website page... I've submit the revision request. Thanks for pointing it out.

2. For the switching frequency in WEBENCH, I guess this is because no relative data available in higher frequency. The device is capable to work on frequency between 250kHz~2.4MHz.
