LM74610-Q1: About Open LM74610-Q1 vs LM5050-2 (at voltage drop: Vin-Vout)

Regarding to voltage drop(Vin-Vout) on LM74610-Q1, my customer is asking some question. 

 

(Question)

1)LM74610-Q1 has voltage drop(Vin-Vout) for internal charge pomp.

The voltage drop depends on body diode (Vf) of external MOSFET.

(It is not regulated to constant voltage.)

My understanding is correct?

 

2)According to datasheet (page12) on LM5050-2, about voltage drop is described as following.

“The LM5050-2 is designed to regulate the MOSFET gate-to-source voltage

if the voltage across the MOSFET source and drain pins falls below the VSD(REG) voltage of 27 mV (typical).”

In this case, regardless of body diode (Vf), voltage drop(Vin-Vout) is regulated to 27 mV (typical).

My understanding is correct?

 

3) Do you have a low voltage drop(Vin-Vout ) type on ideal diode device with pin compatible of LM74610-Q1?

Or do you have a good device for low voltage drop type instead of LM74610-Q1?
