Could you provide the  max rating of high side mos (inculding the transient)?

    Hi E2E,

    anyone can reply the voltage strass on high side FET?

    we use Vin - LL to get the voltage signal across on high-side FET.

    Customer's criteria is 80% derating of high side FET voltage strass.

    We tried to adopt Vin,abs=17V. so, after 80% derating, it becomes 13.6V.

    as we know, there are some spike occur while low side turnning ON.

    That mean that the negative spike voltage could be observed on LL pin.

    After Vin - LL, we could see peak volateg which is higher than 13.6V.

    anyway, we want to know the voltage strass rating on high side FET or how to solve this problem.

    operated condition is 12Vin, 0.9Vout, 1.0 Vout, 1.5Vout, 1.8Vout, so on.

    looking forward to the team's response ASAP.

    This had been answered through e-mail but I will update this post and close it for future reference. The abs max rating for the high-side FET can be found from the VIN 17 V max rating and the LL -7 V min rating. This gives an abs max of 24 V across the HS FET.
