LP5560: Blanking light (feature)

Hi

I would like to know the operation of blanking feature.

The blanking operation is operated by CTLR signal. The LED is lighted between CTLR is high. So that operation,the light looks flashing. Is my understanding correct?

And what we wanted do is that brighting gradually and turning off gradually.

( However if my understanding correct,LP5660 is just flashing at the constant timing and brightness is also constant.)

Can we do our above requirement behavior by using this device?

    Hi, Koji,

    Blank exsits after command entering period. Usually, after the command, the driver works as the training code, and blank won't have the affect. When you switch to another command, the blank occurs again.

    As you can see from 7.3.5 of datasheet, you can change the rise and fall time to achieve gradually changing and figure 20 shows more information.
