LM27222: exposed pad conenction

I don't find any recommendation for the exposed pad connection for the QFN package variant. To which potential is the exposed pad connected inside the package? Can I connect it to GND?

    Hello Patrick,

    The power pad is typically connected to GND which in many applications is a plane or larger trace areas. For both electrical reasons, and best thermal performance, the ground is the recommended connection for the thermal pad.
