MY customer is facing some issues with the TPS65950.
We are planning to use SPST push button switch to ON/OFF the OMAP3530 and TPS65950 based system. We wired a push button switch to PWRON pin on Beagle board ( B7) and surprisingly it has no effect on the board. When we try to read CFG_Px_TRANSITION register we understand all the power sources are enabled to bring the system into ACTIVE mode by default. We believe if we disable all these sources by writing 0s except STARTON_PWON bit then we get full control over PWRON pin. Is that correct?
We are facing some difficulty in writing to this registers from u-boot as these are protected. Could you please advice the procedure to do so?
