LP2985: LP2985A-50DBVR output voltage VS Temperature curve @ 12V input 50mA output

customer want to get LP2985A-50DBVR output voltage VS Temperature curve @ 12V input 50mA output

but in datasheet, there is no this curve, only other input voltage curve are shown.

could you help to test and send this curve to me?

  • Hi Max,

    The worst-case output accuracy for the LP2985A for your customer's application can be estimated using the electrical characteristics table. For the following data, Vin = 6 V when Vout(nom) = 5 V. At Vin = 12 V the regulator's line regulation spec will reduce the output voltage accuracy. 

    Accuracy = Output voltage tolerance + Line regulation * delta(Vin) = 2.5% + 0.032 %/V * (12-6) V = 2.7%

    As such, the worst-case output voltage range for the LP2985A is approximately 4.865 V to 5.135 V when Vin = 12 V, Vout = 5 V, and Iout = 50 mA.
