Hello,

My customers are considering using TPS51367 or TPS568215.

And my customers place importance on efficiency.

The efficiency of TPS51367 is compared with the graph (measured value) of the data sheet, and the efficiency of TPS568215 is compared with the simulation value of WEBENCH.

Can you tell me how much difference in efficiency is obtained when comparing under the same conditions?

I think that it changes considerably if there is a difference in the constant setting of the inductor.

TPS51367 does not have WEBENCH or EVM, so I am in trouble.

Hi, pity we also don't have compare date under same condition, my comment is TPS51367 has lower Rdson and it has ULQ function which is used for light loading efficiency improvement, and TPS51367 is designed for Notebook power with high efficiency, so I suggest you to recommend customer to choose 367 if it can meet customer's application.

I looked at the ON resistance difference data sheet.

When setting the inductor value, is TPS568215 more efficient than TPS51367?

Theoretically, based on same loading, same Vin/Vout, same Fsw, and same inductor, 51367 should be better than 568215, both light and heavy loading.
