LP87524B-Q1: LP87524B-Q1 CLKIN pin define

Hi,

May I know how to design LP87524B-Q1 CLKIN pin?

I check TI DEP-0092 reference design and find the CLKIN pin is NG.

But Spec show "Connect to ground if external clock is not used" on page 4.

Please kinldy confirm it again.

    I have assigned this to the device expert to confirm. As a general rule we recommend following the datasheet first, reference design second; but we will double confirm for you.

    Thank you for pointing out this potential oversight in DEP-0092, we will work with them based on the resolution above.

    Hello Eric,

    Either way is ok. CLKIN has OTP configurable internal pull-down resistor (CLKIN_PD bit) and in LP87524B it is activated. It means you can leave the CLKIN floating if not used.
