REF3230: REF3230 vs REF3430

Part Number: REF3230
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF3430,

REF3230 is being replace by REF3430.   Same pinout and functionality.   What is significantly different about the replacement part?

  • Hi Ian,

The REF3430 improved on the REF3230 on almost every EC table specification to be a much more accurate device while consuming less Iq.
A large change was the heavily improved noise. In terms of functionality, the device is the same. One neat benefit of the REF3430 is that it has a built in inrush current limit of 19mA.
