BQ27520EVM: Chemical ID measurement evaluation

Hi,

we performed the measurement for our battery but didn't get a close matching chemical id. Before we plan sending the battery to you for evaluation could you check that the measurement has been done according to the TI guidelines?

Hi Eetu
Did you run your test on a bare cell or did your cell have a secondary protector attached. If it does you need to take the protector off and rerurn the test to get a match. If you used bare cells and didn't get a match then you need to send the cells to TI

Hi Onyx Ahiakwo, thanks for the reply.

The measurement was done with protector attached. We removed the protector and ran the test again.

The report gives us one id but I'm still quite suspicious of the result. I guess I should try to run the learning cycle with the given chemical id. As far as I know the learning cycle should not complete if the chemical id doesn't match with the battery.

You should be able to get learning to complete with that chem id as it is below 3% DoD error.
