TPS62260-Q1: The input supply current of UVLO condition

Part Number: TPS62260-Q1

Hi team,

I have an question about the input supply current of UVLO condition, if this current is equal to the quiescent current, or less than the quiescent current ?As far as I know, during the UVLO, just the UVLO circuit is working, so I want to know what circuit is working as we measure the quiescent current? Could you please give me some suggestions on these questions.

Thank you so much.

Best regards

Jessica

  • Hi Jessica,

The quiescent current and UVLO are different parameters for more detail I would recommended you to look at this app note : www.ti.com/.../slyt412.pdf .
Could you specify why you want to measure quiescent current in this condition? What is the application?

  • Hi Tanvee,

Thank you very much for your reply and good resources.

Cause in customer system(front camera for POC power module ) ,need to know when this device working in the condition of UVLO(VIN<Vuvlo), they want to analysis the voltage drop on the 50Ω resistance. As the picture shows. Because we do not found the input current under the UVLO condition, so if we have tested the input current under UVLO, if done, where we can know the input current under the condition of UVLO ? Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Jessica,

The device UVLO circuit is enable when the supply voltage is above the UVLO threshold but below the recommended minimum input voltage. The specification outside datasheet is not verified and validated. The current consumption depends on different parameters, but I would expect that the magnitude of current would be approximately same.
