The B version adds a passivation layer that the non-B version did not have.

The B version also includes improved internal circuitry to increase robustness of the OVP circuitry.

Our customer uses TPS54540-Q1.
But output noise increases when temperature is -10℃.
Noise doesn't increase in 25℃ and 60℃.
And Noise increases in low frequency(~100kHz).

Do you know the reason why output noise increases in low temperature and low frequency?
We checked the external circuit of TPS54540-Q1. But this is no problem.


Is this phenomenon(Noise increases in low temperature) related to the change from TPS54540-Q1 to TPS54540B-Q1?

What specifically do you mean by output noise? Is the output fluctuating, is it overshooting periodically, or something else? Do you have waveforms?

It means output voltage noise.
Output voltage noise increases about 10dB when temperature is -10℃.

We have waveform.
Is it possible to use private e2e about waveform?
