TPS23880: some questions

HI,

Here are 2 questions about TPS23880:

1. The auto mode can achieve by SW, but before SW load cade, is there any basic auto-mode function?

2. Our customer plan to use 3 of TPS23880 for 12port PSE, is there any limitation in I2C connection? Or they can just use one bus of I2C connect to these 3 chips from MCU?

    1. The auto mode can achieve by SW, but before SW load code, is there any basic auto-mode function?
    [Answer]In order to achieve full TPS23880 functions, you have to load SRAM code and do some basic configurations(operating mode(0x12), enable DC disconnect(0x13), configure power allocation(0x29), enable detection/classification(0x14)).

    2. Our customer plan to use 3 of TPS23880 for 12port PSE, is there any limitation in I2C connection? Or they can just use one bus of I2C connect to these 3 chips from MCU?
    [Answer]The limit of number of TPS23880 is 16 as we use 4 address pins (A1-A4). You can just simply connect all I2C bus together and connect to MCU through digital isolator as needed.
