Which charger IC Suitable for gas gauge/bq27742 of 1s4p 18650 li-ion battery pack?

1.Our li-ion battery pack/18650  SPEC.: 1S4P,2700mAx4

2.Input source SPEC::5V/4A

3.Battery pack's gas gauge IC is bq27742, and protect IC is S8244.

4.We need recommended charger IC part number suitable for gas gauge/ bq27742.

5.Battery charge time less 1.5 hours.

    Jam,

    BQ24170 is a standalone charger with integrated FET. It does not have NVDC support and passes 5V input to system, with battery supplementing if necessary.
    BQ24773 is a I2C host controlled charger with external FETs. It has NVDC support.

    TI has other integrated FET 1S chargers with NVDC/power path but they are power limited and cannot provide 4A from 5V unless you put two in parallel. The two in parallel (for example, BQ25898 and BQ25898C in WCSP or BQ25890 and BQ25896 in QFN) might be close to the same solution size as BQ24773.
