Hi TI Sirs

I'm using TPS51461RGER on my design.

And I have a question about the value of θjc and θja showed on the datasheet.

On the datasheet, θjc_top = 45 and θja = 33.6

I'm wondering why the θjc_top will higher than θja?

Because the temperature measured on Case Top should be higher than the ambient air temperature.

Do you have an updated thermal information for TPS51461?
