WEBENCH® Tools/LM3429: WEBENCH result issues

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Design Constraints: Custom LED Vf=12.4V, If=1.05A, Rd=1.3ohm. 3-Series, 1-Parallel, Vinmin=8, Vinmax=32, Ta=30C (CREE XHP35)

Can someone run these constraints and send me the generated design. I don't always get consistent results and at times WEBENCH will not generate a design for the LM3429 device.

I'd like to compare results to confirm I'm not missing something.

This confirms what I'm getting....

Now; change the design and add an additional LED making it a 4-LED string and let me know if you can get WEBENCH to generate a design.

Hi Lonnie,

We do not find any LED drivers which meet the requirement of 4 LED in series with the load of 1.05A. However, you can create the design with TPS92691 but with the lower load of 0.65A. Please use the below link to open the design.
